Thank you so much for an incredible party on Friday!  We had the best time and I was asked about you guys [The County Down] all weekend.  I'm so appreciative that you were so easy going about requests and guest stars and staying long into the night.  You've got a lot of new fans for life!
-Ashley O'Brien, professional singer, Burlington, VT.

Gypsy Reel

Gypsy Reel Rockin' Celtic Band from Vermont

So happy to perform with these folks - I met them shortly after relocating to Vermont in 2012. Don't miss their awesome, open Irish/folk session: Thursdays at The Killarney Irish Pub, Ludlow, VT. Gypsy Reel performs regionally and internationally.
I appear on Live 2017, recorded at Brandon Music.

Gypsy Reel's Live 2017 cd is highly recommended. I'l be playing it on my show for months!
— Bill Verdier, Down the Back Lane, WXNA radio Nashville TN

Claudine Langille

Claudine Langille of Gypsy Reel and Touchstone

One of my favorite people in Vermont! A core member of Gypsy Reel and Touchstone. She performs and teaches worldwide.

Claudine Langille can really cook on mandolin and flat picked tenor banjo, and her lead and harmony vocals were a highlight. - Boston Globe.

Claudine is best known for her tenor banjo and mandolin playing with Touchstone, Triona NiDhomhnaill's highly acclaimed Irish-Appalachian fusion band based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina in the 80's.

Jon Clinch

Jon Clinch author musician

Jon performs solo and with members of Gypsy Reel, often under covert band names, such as 4-to-the-Bar, or Bad Hombres (depending on recent presidential tweets). Not only is he a great guy, soulful singer and fingerstyle guitarist, but an acclaimed novelist as well!

O'hAnleigh

O'hAnleigh : Music of Irish America

My new friends, O'hAnleigh, are a blast to play with! They perform regionally and internationally - just back from their short UK tour.

. . . quite a fabulous variety of music, instruments and vocals. Highlighting the Irish-American sounds of everything from traditional Celtic music to totally original arrangements - , Celtic MP3 Magazine

I was honored to be invited to Lane Gibson Recording And Mastering for percussion on Come to the Faire and Winds of Change (2019).

Loose Monkeys

Loose Monkeys Irish band

I feel right at home with these lads. Chris LaPointe, his brother Tom along with Matt Foley on fiddle play a fine blend of traditional and contemporary Irish songs, Folk-rock, Grateful Dead and much more. And Jayzus, they're TALL.
Loose Monkeys can be sighted on both sides of Lake Champlain.
Chris LaPointe often joins in with The County Down and Fiddle Witch.
